Persian "Police Actions" Escalate

Shortly before Malawi joined Greater Persia, Persian sources relayed the following message regarding the Brotherhood:
Recent news internally in the Persian Empire disputes reports that it's at war with any great power. Instead they point out that there have only been police actions on a small state that has not yet been brought into the fold but could have potentially posed some small threat to Persian citizens abroad.
A reliable source informed the Times that Emperor Xerxes was very upset when the Brotherhood's rebuilt space station, the "Queen Anne's Revenge II" destroyed Persia's own station. No word yet on the status of the QARII.

Standoff Between Great Powers

Conflict continues between the two greatest powers in the world today: Greater Persia and the Protectorate of the Black Skull. Persia has cemented its foothold in the Middle East and Africa by pulling in 18 additional nations, and the Black Skull has established a number of bases off-world, using its Singapore-based "Sky City" to launch a number of rockets. The Black Skull now counts seven nations under the umbrella of its "Protectorate."

However, conflict has recently arisen between the two powers and the battle has been waged, that's right, over our heads. With the same device which demonstrated terrible destructive power in Bhutan, Greater Persian forces recently fended off an attack from the Brotherhood's robot swarm, the same technology that has kept us off the Nets for so long.

What's the next step in this battle? It's hard to say, because few are allowed in or out of the Protectorate, and Persia has remained remarkably silent about the entire affair.

Pirates Stake Claim

Claiming responsibility for the worldwide rash of piracy, the Brotherhood of the Black Skull has claimed the Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore as the "Protectorate of the Black Skull", posting a warning to any nation or organization that would attempt to impose sanctions upon or disrupt the activities of the Protectorate. The Black Skull, led by Captain John Good, former CEO of Goodle Inc., warns that they will "stop at nothing to destroy anyone who would make themselves an enemy of the Brotherhood."

Persia Behind Piracy?

With the crumbling of the West, communication and cooperation between nations becoming futile, and the future stability of the world at large in doubt, Greater Persia reorganizes itself into a global empire. Vowing not only to restore the order once enjoyed but to go beyond it and provide a peace and stability never before enjoyed outside of Greater Persia.

Almost simultaneously, piracy around the globe drops to a fraction of its prior activity.

Greater Persia Expands, Piracy Rampant

Greater Persia continues to expand through military force and political wiles. An attempt was made by the UN to stop Persia's invasion of Djibouti, but they were stopped by an organized group of pirates off the East African coast. Those pirates, also targeted by the UN, took aggressive action and pillaged and destroyed the UN headquarters. The organization, having faced terrible stress from years of warfare and failure to stop aggressive action around the world, has been disbanded.

British Empire Crumbles, Persia Expands

The British Empire was dismantled by the UN after conquering Canada and the eastern coast of the United States. Republics are reestablished in all of the nations which were once under the control of the British behemoth. Great Britain is now strictly a parliamentary system with no monarch.

In the middle east, Greater Persia continues to expand as many Arab League nations join with the empire which promises a peaceful stability in contrast to the war that has rocked western nations in recent years.

Persia Expands, Europe Develops

Greater Persia has caused civil war in both Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. Having sent "stabilizing forces," they have managed to claim both nations.

The UK has developed electric vehicles and a supporting infrastructure. 80% of all vehicles in the empire are now electric. In addition, longtime enemy France has joined with the UK to make a better Europe and a better world.
