The Game Returns

Those of you who know me well know that E and I have been playing a game since we met in middle school. The game is a little bit like Risk. At its heart, it's a game of global domination. A player makes moves by declaring what he wants to do in the game universe and then flips a coin or rolls a die to see if he is successful. That's the simple explanation. Really, there are a lot of hidden rules and such that have never been written down and wouldn't make a lot of sense to too many people outside of the two of us.

So, a week or so ago, I decided to start back into the game and I sent E a text to let him know I was doing so. We've gotten a little ways into the game. The map above shows just the UK and Belgium, which is all I control, considering I can't seem to conquer France. Oh well! I'm trying to invade the Netherlands now, and we'll see how that pans out. E has created major instability in the Middle East, so I don't know what he really controls and what's just crazy down there. All I really know about it is that he's causing my gas prices to go up! ;)
